Medical and Corrective Exercise Training

Our Medical and Corrective Exercise Training Program is ideal for those who are on a Post Rehab program. We help with assistance on training, stretching, and myofascial release. It can also help those who need to find a program to medically manage their joint and muscular pain with exercise. And we can help those who are looking to use exercise to medically manage their illness and disease such as diabetes, hypertension, MS (multiple sclerosis), osteoarthritis, and more.

 

  • Best for those who have just been released from Physical Therapy and/or are struggling with Chronic Pain. You must be cleared to exercise by a licensed medical professional.
  • The Medical Exercise Program Director, Medical Exercise Specialist, Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist, or Corrective Exercise Specialist is a fitness professional with the knowledge and skills covering 30 to 50 medical conditions.  They will develop safe and effective exercise programs for clients with musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic and/or neurological disorders.
  • The MEPD/MES/PRCS will predominately use a hands on approach when applying any of the exercises, stretches, and other modalities.
  • Most of the session is in an assisted environment.

 

o   Services for each session include the following:

    • Assisted stretching and education on self-stretching.
    • Assisted myofascial release and education on self-myofascial release.
    • Assisted resistance for professionals hands to ensure client can relearn proper neuro activation of the target muscles and education on how to use equipment appropriate for their issues.
    • Monitoring, logging clients exercises, sets, reps, time and other aspects of the client’s session.
    • Summary Reports for client and medical professionals overseeing client’s wellness.
    • Progress Reports for client and medical professionals overseeing client’s wellness.
    • Communication with client’s medical professionals outside of the session time.
    • Documentation given to clients to help with possible insurance reimbursements.

  • Client must schedule at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Client must train only in the agreed time they are scheduled.
  • Any changes or cancellations must be done 24 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations inside the 24 hour window will be charged unless it is a medical or family emergency.

Medically Manage Condition with Exercise

Hybrid Training

If you enjoy one on one sessions then this is for you. Our hybrid training programs are tailored to you and your unique goals. To learn more, call us or fill out your info to get started with a free consultation.

 

  • A combination of Medical/Corrective Exercise and Athletic Performance in a Traditional One-on-One approach.
  • Great for those who just need to manage their medical issues and/or joint and muscular discomfort and want to get back to general fitness or athletically perform to enjoy hobbies and sports.
  • The Medical Exercise Program Director, Medical Exercise Specialist, Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist, or Corrective Exercise Specialist is a fitness professional with knowledge and skills covering 30 to 50 medical conditions. They will develop safe and effective exercise programs for clients with musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic and/or neurological disorders.
  • The MEPD/MES/PRCS will assist the client with their exercises, stretches and release for about 25%-50% of the session.  As for the other half, the client is functional enough to perform their own self-modalities when it comes to inhibiting, lengthening and using resistance training tools.

 

o   Services for each session include the following:

    • Some assisted stretching and education on self-stretching
    • Some assisted myofascial release and education on self-myofascial release
    • Client is functional enough to do the vast majority of their exercises
    • Monitoring, logging clients exercises, sets, reps, time and other aspects of the client’s session
    • Summary Reports for client and medical professionals overseeing client’s wellness
    • Progress Reports for client and medical professionals overseeing client’s wellness
    • Communication with client’s medical professionals outside of the session time
    • Documentation given to clients to help with possible insurance reimbursements

One on One Training

Tailored Programs For Your Goals

Partner | Group Training

Our Partner | Group Training program is designed for those who like to work with a partner or in groups to support one another in achieving fitness goals. Things also come up from time to time with busy schedules, so there’s also added flexibility to re-schedule sessions, but since we are are a small, private facility, understand you may have to share time with other clients from time to time.   • Best for those who like working with others
  • Clients must be training with at least one other person in order to receive the Partner/Group rate. Otherwise, it will be charged as a Hybrid One-On-One Session.
  • Clients understand they are responsible to monitor their own weights, reps and time to allow the fitness professional the ability monitor them and all other clients equally within the same session time
  • Clients will perform their own self-stretching and self-myofascial release as guided by the fitness professional
